Greg Merrilees, founder of Graphic Art Downloads (GAD):
I began my passion of creating graphics for tee-shirts when I purchased an air-brush back in the eighties at age 16 & offered the girls in my school to air-brush their tees for free while they were wearing them :) Without much success and the thirst to create more tee-shirt graphics it drove me to learn the ropes professionally. I worked for a screen printer for 10 years, then started my own graphics company (Studio 1) in 2000. Studio1 is based in Melbourne Australia. For over 12 years I have been servicing the fashion industry with my team of highly creative and multidisciplinary artists.

Together with my wife (GADs forecasting expert), we have identified the need for unique, original and on trend graphics for our industry in a world that has been smothered in clip art slapped product that has no thought or passion behind it. Just as important is the need for fast results so the idea was formed to provide a bank of awesome art that are on trend, easily obtained, commercially sound and are proven to sell products... GAD was born.
